Always a friendly and professional experience. I really enjoy visiting the salon. Olivia listens carefully to what I ask for, and the result is never anything short of perfect.

I absolutely love this salon. It’s well-established, always busy, and in a great location with plenty of parking. Olivia and Andrew are my go-to stylists—they offer honest advice and always deliver exactly what we discuss. I always leave happy. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The service you get at Cruz is simply first class. My regular stylist is Andrew who is brilliant. However, every stylist in the salon has tended my hair at some time and I have never been disappointed - they really listen to you and always go the extra mile. They are always up to date with the latest techniques etc and you can guarantee an all round great experience. I have recently had a complete change of colour and I love it! I cannot recommend the salon highly enough.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is balayage?
Balayage is a freehand hair colouring technique where colour is painted onto the hair to create a soft, graduated effect. It mimics natural sun-kissed highlights and offers a low-maintenance finish.
How is balayage different from highlights?
Unlike foil highlights, balayage is applied without foils for a more blended, natural result. It creates softer transitions and less noticeable regrowth.
Is balayage suitable for all hair types and colours?
Yes. Balayage works beautifully on most hair types and lengths. We customise tone and placement to suit your natural colour, texture, and style preferences.
How long does balayage last?
Because balayage grows out softly, most clients return every 3–4 months, with optional toner refreshes in between to maintain tone and shine.
Do I need a patch test before balayage?
Yes. A patch test is required at least 48 hours before your appointment to ensure the colour is safe for your skin.
