# Stylist – Cruz Hairworks, Whitley Bay

Cruz Hairworks is a family-run, independent salon in Whitley Bay, owned by Mark and managed by Olivia. We're the top-rated salon in our area on Google, and we've earned that reputation through high standards and genuinely excellent customer service.

We're busy and well booked, but we run a calm, well-organised diary, so clients don't wait weeks for an appointment, and the salon is never loud or chaotic. We look after a loyal, varied clientele across all ages and genders, with colour, cutting and blow-dries our most requested services. Above all, we're a small, supportive team who are invested in each other's success.

## The Role

As a stylist at Cruz Hairworks you'll work alongside and within our team, delivering colour and cutting services to a high standard. You'll build your own column with plenty of support, from existing salon clients, referrals, and hand-overs from the team, so you're never starting from scratch.

Full time, employed position, 4 to 5 days per week including Saturdays. You'll perform colour and cutting services for a varied clientele, build and grow your own clientele with the team behind you, and contribute to a calm, busy, supportive salon floor.

## Who We're Looking For

NVQ Level 3 qualified or equivalent, with at least 2 to 3 years on the salon floor post-qualification. Hair extension qualified and confident with balayage, foiling and cutting to a high standard. L'Oréal Professionnel brand trained. Comfortable and collaborative working within a team, happy in a busy salon that stays calm rather than chaotic, confident creating social media content, and driven to hit personal targets.

## What Success Looks Like

In this role you'll integrate quickly into the team, begin building a steady clientele, and start looking ahead to your next step, whether that's a new position within the team or training to offer a new service. We want someone who wants to keep growing with us.

## What We Offer

Salary with on-target earnings up to £30,000 in your first year, quarterly personal bonuses (percentage based), a monthly team bonus, and personal tips. 28 days holiday including bank holidays. Closed over Christmas and New Year (exact days depend on how the dates fall). Open Good Friday but closed the following Saturday for a longer weekend. Free in-house services, discounted products, and opportunities to attend training courses.
